“I live in Charlestown and used ABC in 2009 for some slider and large window vertical blinds, as well as a custom skylight cover. They came to the house for measuring and to show me samples, and of course for installation. They were extremely helpful and wonderful to work with all around. They are a family run business who have been around a long time – which I love supporting. I found the prices extremely reasonable, while not being “cheap”. I had used a different operation to do blinds in a couple other rooms a year or two prior, and the prices were just outrageous compared. The ABC showroom is a bit dated, I will admit, but I would say don’t let that deter you. Its also in a slightly sketchy area (though on a main street), but maybe that is why the prices are so much more reasonable than other places. I would whole heartedly recommend these guys. I’m about to call them to see if they can clean the blinds, which reminded me I should finally write this review!”

“The guys at ABC Window Shade Company are the best. My wife and I recently purchased a condo in Somerville and we went to ABC to get blinds installed. The employees (all family members – this is a real family-owned business) were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were able to come to our condo the next day to measure all our windows and help us choose the appropriate product. The blinds arrived on schedule (3 weeks later, as promised), and the guys were able to install them the next day. They look great! It was such a joy working with a friendly, family-owned company. They really cared about our satisfaction, and it feels great to support a local business.”

About one year ago my husband and I decided that we wanted to replace our window treatments in the living room and kitchen.We wanted good quality treatments that would last. Being a smart shopper I started investigating all of the options available. When we decided on the Comfortex Shangri- La treatments we contacted different companies for estimates.
